Most everyone is familiar with their "Sun
Sign" from the grocery stores to movies sun signs are
seen and discussed everywhere. Sun signs are based on the
position of the sun the day you were born. |
The cusp is the transition point between two astrological signs; this is not always a definite date a person may be born at 10 AM and the change from one sign to the next may occur at 10:30 am so what sign is this person? Astrologers when doing a natal chart can pinpoint when the change occurred, however without the exact time of your birth a person born at this time of change could easily be reading the wrong horoscope. A personal example is my youngest grandson who was born on August 23rd so looking at sun signs some astrologers call him a Leo and other astrologers say he’s a Virgo. When I did his natal chart he is a Virgo, however like many born on the cusp he has attributes of both signs. My grandson has all the intelligence and flair for sarcasm of the Leo and all the nervous intensity of the Virgo. He is now in junior high school the next few years should prove interesting; Leo’s usually have one romantic partner in their lives who they meet in high school and later marry and have a life long relationship, the Virgo on the other hand has numerous romantic encounters preferring to play the field and may marry several times without ever really settling down. What ever his sign I know he will grow up and make me very proud. So if you were born on the last two days of a sign or on the first two days of a sign don’t be confused if different astrologers label you with different signs. Read both the horoscope your birth date falls under and the next one then remember you are probably a combination of both. To get a more accurate reading you should get a natal chart done that is based on your birth time.
